The European Researchers’ Night (ERN) is an event that takes place simultaneously once a year throughout Europe and invites the public to get a taste of the everyday life of research institutions. We look forward to seeing you!
This year, the Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (acib) and the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten will jointly organize a hands-on event for young and old, for your school class and for the whole family.
Embark on an exciting journey through life science research on the topics of Health & Food, Climate & Environment, Digital Transformation and Culture & Community.
Join us to discover where science and your everyday life meet. Listen to exciting lectures, discuss current issues and try out one or the other experiment yourself! In our (online) games and quizzes you can show off your own knowledge and maybe you will find a tip for your personal career in research in our career corner?
In Graz, the scientists Lisa Schenzle and Christian Gruber will explain how science improves our lives at the Graz Bar 8020 starting at 19:00 (https://pintofscience.at/event/wie-die-wissenschaft-unser-leben-verbessert).
BNN will also participate in the ERN and will deal with the topic “Nanomaterials & Nanotechnology” in form of an interactive game at a stand in St. Pölten. More infos will follow soon!
