IRISS SSbD workshop on Horizon Europe projects

The IRISS project holds a second SSbD workshop of Horizon projects on Friday 10^th November 2023, 10:00 – 15:00 CET Online via Zoom

The aim of this workshop is to present how Horizon Europe (HE) projects are implementing the SSbD approach and to foster collaboration between SSbD projects in order to identify the best way forward. This workshop will also further expand the IRISS network by integrating recently started projects and strengthening our impact as an SSbD community.

To set the scene, the workshop will start with presentations from IRISS, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the NanoSafety Cluster (NSC) and PARC to provide information on the SSbD framework, the SSbD roadmap under development in IRISS, and the SSbD toolbox under development in PARC. Afterwards, different HE projects will have the opportunity to present themselves and what they are doing in order to implement the SSbD approach. The third part of the workshop will be a panel discussion with selected representatives. The discussion aims to gather input and suggestions on how to align and focus our efforts on the implementation and operationalisation of SSbD and on how IRISS can support this.
